Navdeep Kaur Biography

Navdeep Kaur, India’s representative at Mrs. World 2022, left a mark as an Indian participant after 21 years at the beauty pageant by winning the Best National Costume award for the nation. She is an Odia Daughter-in-law from Kansbahal in Sundargarh district of Odisha. Earlier, she has crowned the winner of one of the most significant events of the last year, Mrs. India World 2020-2021.

Early Life And Education

Kaur was interested in the fashion and modeling careers alongside her studies from an early age. She had always wanted to win a beauty pageant and make a name for herself and make her family and country proud. Navdeep holds a degree of Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and did her masters in Masters of Business Administrations (MBA). After her master’s, she did a banking job in Kotak Mahindra bank, Odisha as an assistant manager for a while. She then pursue her career as a personality development trainer.

Modeling Career

In 2021, Kaur made her state proud by winning the title of Ms. India World 2021 which held at The Deltin, Daman and Diu. After winning the title, she established her own identity in the fashion and beauty sector. The Mrs India crown was the beginning of her achievements in her career. She is always trying to encourage many, especially married women, and emphasized that it is never too late to achieve one’s goals. 

Mrs world 2022

The Mrs. World beauty pageant has seen many gorgeous and smart women contest for the crown since its start in 1984. Every year, the platform allows women worldwide to showcase their beauty, talents, and culture.

After winning the Mrs. India World 2021 award, Navdeep represented India at the Mrs World 2022 competition, which was recently held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Kaur was overjoyed at the achievement and intended to take the crown home with her and make India proud at the competition.

In the beauty pageant she was selected among the top 15 contestants in the finale of the competition which was held on 15th January 2022. Mrs America Shaylyn Ford has declared as the winner of the contest and India’s Navdeep Kaur won the award in the category of Best National Costume. The Indian beauty queen wore a stunning gold Avant Garde outfit inspired by the Kundalini Chakra. Her whole costume was snake-themed with a huge serpent head, including a stick and long golden boots designed by Eggie Jasmin.

According to the caption of the Instagram post shared by Mrs India Inc, the collection symbolises the movement of energy in chakras of the body from the base to the spine up through the crown.

“Heart overflowing with gratitude!! India we made it… We are glad and honoured to announce that our queen…has won the National Costume award at Mrs World 2022,” Mrs India Inc posted on Instagram.

Navdeep Kaur husband name is Kamaldeep Singh who is a businessman. They both married in 2014 and happily stayed with their parents at Sukhman Villa Kansbahal in the Sundargarh district of Odisha. The couple has a 6-year-old daughter named Jasleen Kaur.
